Warning lights are a fact of life. They are literally everywhere from TVs and electrical equipment to alarm systems when they have been activated. We need Warning lights to tell us when something is wrong and we need to take action to put it right. The Warning lights on emergency vehicles are some of the most important Warning lights you are ever likely to see. Such flashing lights on vehicles mean only one thing, someone is in dire need of assistance. We may think that flashing lights and sirens are everywhere and perhaps they are but they only use the lights and siren in the most urgent calls.

Warnings have always played a part in our lives, we are warned as children not to talk to strangers or get into strangers cars. As adults, we are warned of the perils of various things from online dating to eating undercooked barbecue food! Warnings play a big part in our lives no matter who we are or what we do, or even what age we are. In this electronic age we live in, we are bombarded with warning flashing lights that blink insidiously at us in a menacing way, the blinking light in the car dash that warns us our oil is low. Its a fact; we cant just ignore Warning lights or even beeps and alarms.

Warning lights are an integral part of modern life. We see them in airports on planes, in ports on ships and of course, we see them on emergency response vehicles. The lights on emergency response vehicles play a vital role as they warn other road users and they inform road users because they can become traffic advisors. The lights on vehicles are part and parcel of being a first responder and I cant think of any emergency vehicle that doesnt have some form of Warning lights on it, even if its just a single beacon light. Warnings are important and the more advance warning we have of situations the better.

Warning lights for first response vehicles take on many shapes, forms, colors and variations. They can be internal to the vehicle and be on the dash or rear window, and they can also be visor lights. Externally the vehicle can have any number of Warning lights from the built in hazard warning side light to taillights, hidden strobes, light bars and beacons. Many vehicles have a combination of lights and although they are unlikely to all be used at once, they will all have a purpose. Often the internal lights shield the occupants from those looking into the vehicle thereby eliminating them as an easy target in say a shooting.

Its hard to imagine any part of our lives where we dont have Warning lights. I suppose ourselves would be the only machine that has no lights to warn. We get warning signs in our body but no lights as such. The lights used to warn can be tiny, like a red flashing pinpoint on a phone to say the battery is dying to the huge bank of light bars on a police vehicle. Large to small the lights all play an important part in warning us that something is awry, and we should ignore any Warning lights at our peril. Safety and security is something we all want and the Warning lights that surround our everyday life play a part in keeping us safe and secure.
